Privacy Notice

Last updated September 2026 · Controller: MTR Ventures LLC

1. Who we are

Airloom is operated by MTR Ventures LLC, trading as Airloom. For the personal data described in this notice, MTR Ventures LLC is the data controller — we decide why and how it is processed.

This notice covers hosts, guests who record messages, partner resellers, and visitors to myairloom.com and its reseller subdomains.

2. What we collect and why

Account data — host and partner name, email address, and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).

Event content — event names, dates, cover images, and the voice and video messages your guests record, used to store and deliver your gallery (legal basis: performance of our contract).

Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help, used to respond and resolve issues (legal basis: legitimate interests).

Usage and device data — pages visited, referral clicks and conversions, device/browser type, and IP address, used for security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and partner attribution (legal basis: legitimate interests and, where required, consent).

Payment data is collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for checkout, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing. We do not see or store your card details.

3. Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run Airloom — cloud hosting, database, file storage, and support tooling — under contracts that limit their use of your data.

Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed, and authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Account and event data is kept while your account is active and your events are within their live or export period. Guest recordings may be deleted after an event's export window closes. Support and usage records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@myairloom.com. We respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. International transfers and security

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls on event content, and private, signed-URL storage for recordings.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember referral attribution for partners. We do not use advertising or third-party marketing cookies.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; essential sign-in storage is required to use host and partner accounts.

8. Contact and changes

Questions about this notice or your data: hello@myairloom.com.

If we change this notice, we will update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice on the site.
